# Mockup Station

> Mockup Station is a free web app that turns UI screenshots into launch and presentation visuals. You drop in a screenshot, frame it in a browser or device, style the background, optionally animate it, and export an image, video, GIF or HTML embed. It runs in the browser at https://mockup.satadalux.com and adds no watermark. Editing needs no account. The first export asks for a verified email.

The intended flow is to drop a screenshot and get a usable result in under a minute. Templates and presets get you there. Keyframes, shaders and 3D are there for people who want more control.

## Features

- Frames: browser windows and devices (iPhone, iPad, Pixel, Android phones, laptops, iMac, watch) in flat 2D or 3D clay styles. You can also upload your own PNG frame.
- Backgrounds: solid colors, gradients, mesh gradients, animated WebGL shaders, or an image.
- Layers: text, badges and 3D shapes over the composition.
- Animation: a keyframe timeline with easing and a camera track.
- Canvas sizes: 16:9 (1920 × 1080), 4:5 (1080 × 1350), 1:1 (1080 × 1080) and 9:16 (1080 × 1920).
- Exports:
  - PNG or WebP at 1×, 2×, 3× or 4× scale
  - every size at once
  - MP4 video at 1080p
  - GIF at 480p, 720p or 1080p
  - a carousel, which saves every artboard as a numbered PNG
  - an interactive HTML embed
- Style links: a URL that carries the layout, background, effects and animation, without the screenshots, so someone else can reuse the look.
- Undo and redo, and the layers, inspector and timeline conventions Figma users already know.

## Pricing

Free. Every export format and size is available without paying, and exports carry no watermark. The first export on a browser asks you to verify an email address, with Google or a 6-digit code. After that, exporting doesn't ask again on that browser.

## Requirements

A desktop browser with JavaScript and WebGL. The app is built for pointer and keyboard. It works on touch devices, but they aren't the main target.

## Common questions

- How do I make a mockup of my app screenshot? Open https://mockup.satadalux.com, drop or paste the screenshot onto the canvas, pick a frame and background, then click Export.
- Can I export a video or GIF of my screenshot? Yes. MP4 at 1080p, and GIF at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
- Is there a watermark? No.
- Do I need to sign up? Not to edit. The first export asks you to verify an email, with Google or a 6-digit code, once per browser. Marketing emails are opt-in and off by default.
- What size should I use for Product Hunt, X or Instagram? 16:9 works for Product Hunt galleries and X posts, 4:5 or 1:1 for Instagram feed posts, and 9:16 for stories and reels.
- Does it upload my screenshots? No. Screenshots stay in your browser, and rendering and export happen there too. Style links leave the images out.
